The Shade Provider

Another artifact we recuperated from previous projects is the metallic shade provider, designed by Alex Axinte for the exhibition on the villages of 2Mai and Vama Veche, curated by Iuliana Dumitru at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in 2020. Alex is one half of studioBASAR, who, together with Cristi Borcan, donated us the container; Iuliana was part of the tranzit team, she is one of the Station’s co-founders and currently she works at the Peasant Museum. Continuity, trust and the desire to use at the maximum each resource we produced, us or our partners, are the foundation for many of the structures we integrate at the Station.
